Unfortunately, badarse specs and cool design didn’t translate to sales.

The Galaxy S7 will be unveiled in just less than a fortnight on February 21 at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2016.

Now that this Android operating system, also known as Android M, has been officially rolled out for about 4 months, many people believe that it is high time for it receive upgrades to be compatible with the newest of Android devices. The report also says that the device will have a 5.3 inch Quad HD display, which coincides with the leak from the Reddit user. “Android nonpareil might be another story though”, he tweeted to an irritated follower who was complaining about the poor state of Marshmallow updates on Samsung’s phones.

Moreover, the upcoming Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge are expected to have Samsung’s recently rumoured “Always On Display”, which will work by displaying the time and notifications on the smartphone’s home screen without the user needing to unlock the screen. You can also manually check for the update in Settings.

As for last year’s flagship phones from Samsung, it’s only now that Marshmallow is rolling out.

Aside from the leak’s solid source, the G series has a tendency to incorporate some of its weirder experiments from other phones. For one thing, it confirms that the unit will be coming with two version incorporating two different processors, namely the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 and the Exynos 8890.

New, excellent devices from the likes of LG, Xiaomi, Asus, as well as Google’s Nexus 6, which were more affordable than any of Samsung’s flagships, all helped to chip away at Samsung’s previous domination of the Android market. But with a better processor, the difference will most likely a wash.

When a fingerprint isn’t recognized, you will only get vibration feedback. Its screen size and resolution is said to remain the same, though Samsung is widely expected to add an Apple like pressure sensitive touch technology to the display.

In any case, we expect that the new Samsung phones will arrive in an array of finishes.
