LG said that the device, developed following customer feedback and optimized for multimedia consumption, also features a slim and sleek design with the slimmest bezel among similar-sized tablets now on the market, with a soft metallic-finish.

LG believes that tablets are still a thing; it’s unveiled the G Pad II 10.1 to take on the few tablets still doing the rounds, with a large display, decent specs and a massive battery to keep it in the running. The tablet has 16GB eMMC storage along with microSD card support for further expansion. When that will be, though, and how much the G Pad II 10.1 will cost still remains a mystery.
The 10.1-inch G Pad II boasts of a display set at a resolution of 1920 x 1200 and will draw its power from a Snapdragon 800 clocked at 2.26GHz and tagged with a 2GB of RAM. This tablet will be available in Wi-Fi and LTE versions.
Other: Reader Mode / Dual Window / QuickMemo+. The Dual Window mode divides the screen allowing to run two apps at the same time, and QuickMemo+ allows users to create, save and share memos from any screen. It also includes 100GB of free storage on Microsoft’s OneDrive.
After launching the G Pad in 7-inch, 8-inch and 10.1-inch variants a year ago, LG today announced the successor to the 10.1-inch variant, called LG G Pad II 10.1.
The LG G Pad II 10.1 is backed by a 7400mAh battery, measures 254.3×161.1×7.8mm, and weighs 489 grams.
This tablet will be available in Bronze color and will be displayed at LG stand at IFA 2015 from 4-9 September, in Hall 18.
The pricing and availability of the device will be announced locally at the time of launch.

LG says that there will be both Wi-Fi and LTE models sold in “key markets” in North America, Europe, and Asia.
