LG V10 is supposed to make its way to the USA and other countries in the weeks to come, and while there’s no mention of United Kingdom and Australia, we do know most of the specs.

First, let’s take a quick look at the hardware to have a few context.

“The LG V10 delivers a different experience compared to other rival models”. From that, we can easily assume that the overall responsiveness and capabilities will be at least just as good, if not slightly better, thanks to software optimization. The removable battery has a capacity of 3000 mAh, but there is no built-in wireless charging.

The LG V10 will first be available in South Korea starting October. Of course, this is Quick Charge 2.0 compatible.

It Android 5.1.1 Lollipop-based phone further comes with a fingerprint sensor that doubles up to turn on the display simultaneously.

If you are keen on the idea of a smartphone with a separate ticker display along the top, then you may just be cajoled by the V10. It also sports a resolution of 160 x 1040 and comes with the same 513 pixel density that the main display has. Working independently, the Second Screen can be set up as an “always on” display to enhance the V10’s productiveness all without impacting battery life. This second screen will likely be able to display information separately to the main display like Samsung’s Galaxy Note Edge.

Also new for this phone is not one, but two front-facing 5 MP cameras, with one capturing images in a wide field of view at 180 degrees, and the other one capturing 80 degrees. And there’s also support for recording multi-view imagery using both front cameras and the 16MP rear camera at the same time. Users can now take stable shots and videos in 16:9 and 12:9 ratios. With manual video mode, one can create professional-quality videos by adjusting options such as shutter speed, frame rate, ISO, white balance and focus while recording. In our full G4 review we told you that the Snapdragon 808 was plenty capable of performing tasks that will satisfy power users and everyday users alike. “With the V10, we hope to do for video what the G4 did for photographs”. And, of course, LG’s signature rear-positioned volume buttons are present on the V10 as well.

LG has posted the below teasers on Twitter but there’s not much to get from them. It still has an optical stabilization mechanism for smaller shakes such as vehicle vibration and/or “shaky hands”.

The LG V10 boasts of a long list audio and video recording features. As I understand it, this is based on motion analysis. LG says that they did a bunch of 3rd party drop tests with the phone and it performed quite well.

With dimensions of 159.6 x 79.3 x 8.6mm and a weight of 192g, the LG’s latest novelty phone is certainly bigger than the LG G4 we’ve been using.
