The company said last week the launch of new products, including a successor to the V10, will help its performance improve in the third quarter. On July 28, the company posted its financial results for Q2 and it revealed the launch of a new V series smartphone soon.
HTC also recently confirmed that Android 7.0 Nougat was on its way to at least three of its popular smartphones, including the HTC 10, One M9 and One A9.
It is unclear what else is on offer, but LG describes the V20 as a multimedia-focused device, making it likely that it will feature the same high-end camera features as seen on last year’s model, including a manual video mode. LG Canada is comprised of five business units – Mobile Communications, Home Appliance, Home Entertainment, Business Solutions and Commercial Air Conditioning. Further, it also sports a 2.1-inch IPS secondary display. The handset consists of two displays, with the customizable display placed right above the primary display.
The LG V10 came with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor and 4 GB of RAM. Mobile phone enthusiasts will hope that the LG V20 comes with the Snapdragon 820 chip and maybe 6 GB of RAM.

LG’s already demonstrated it’s willing to think outside of the box with its flagship smartphones, but it’s still struggling to keep up with Samsung and Apple. Nexus phones are, traditionally, the first phones launched with a new operating system from Google.
