LG may be downplaying the profit benefits of Nexus devices, but it definitely benefits from its ties with Google, allowing it to call dibs on many Android releases, whether it be the first to offer an update to existing phones or, like now, the first OEM to come out with an Android 7.0 smartphone that isn’t a Nexus.

The last smartphone in the “V series” was named V10, which was launched in October past year.

“V20 will run the latest Android OS, making it the first among the newly released smartphones”.

LG promises the “V20 will be a new standard for premium phones [with] more enhanced multimedia capabilities”. Back then, we said that the phone could have a large 1440 x 2560 resolution display, and a secondary screen as found on the LG V10. Talking about the specifications, this is the first smartphone to equips dual selfie camera setup with 5MP.
