One question at the march this year is if people support President Trump.

Here are some of the signs that the protesters carried.

The President’s senior aide Kellyanne Conway also addressed the demonstrators before the march.

She was also happy to have Mr Pence there: his presence was proof that the administration was on their side: “Mike Pence has been a big supporter of the pro-life movement for years… it’s really fantastic to see that we have an administration now that supports the pro-life movement”.

“We have always been really proud of Mike Pence”, said Abigail Eschelbach, of the Allen County Right to Life Group. Pence has been staunchly abortion his entire career.

“[Quakers for Life is] very grateful that the Vice President and, it seems, the President are supporting the pro-life cause”. Trump has said he’d sign both measures. He said he was excited to stand with like-minded activists and show that every life counts.

Pence, the first sitting vice president to attend the March for Life, vowed that the administration would work with Congress to defund Planned Parenthood and other abortion providers.

“I made a decision to come to the rally because I feel like we’ve been living in a culture of death and that we need to be living with life and where life is respected and cared for, and all the voiceless children will have a voice today here”, she said. “We’ve already seen evidence of that with President Trump”.

“That’s why on Monday President Trump reinstated the Mexico City policy to prevent foreign aid from funding organization that perform abortion”, he said. After the march, Trump tweeted: “Watched protests yesterday but was under the impression that we’d just had an election!”

“Honored to meet with Pro-Life leaders in my office tonight”.

President Trump says he will make his Supreme Court choice next Thursday. “As they sit there, they stand here with [the pro-life movement]”.

“We demand the immediate eradication of abortion”, the musical group Transform DJs told the crowd as they opened the day’s program.

Montenero says he has been going every year since 2010.

A nationwide Gallup/Newsweek poll a year ago showed that 79 percent of Americans approve of abortion in at least some cases and 19 percent are opposed to abortion for any reason.

“Today in this culture, so many kids feel alone”, says Jessica Shanahan.
