Already, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is already breaking records ahead of its release.

But for Amazon Prime Potterheads, they can get a surprise on their own doorsteps – “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child”, the script of the highly anticipated stage play.

As the play officially opens at the Palace Theatre after almost eight weeks of previews, audience members will expect a magical experience after rave reviews from critics. They’re celebrating with a release party with on-theme entertainment, from wizarding chess to charms classes to a costume class. Beyond that, few plot details have leaked during nearly two months of previews.
To prepare for the big release, downtown Staunton will look more like the magical world of Harry Potter all day Saturday.
