With his last handful of videos, rapper Lil Dicky has tackled such controversial social issues as white crime, sexual inactivity (if you don’t use it, you lose it, ya know), and the trickle-down patriarchy that is modern bro culture. The result, of course, is something nearly unheard of in rap: a thrifty rap music video.
The video was released Thursday and already has more than 1 million views.
Notable appearances include: Sarah Silverman, Kevin Durant, Dillon Francis, Hannibal Buress, Abbi Jacobson, Ilana Glazer, Mark Cuban, and Tom Petty.
In an exclusive interview with GQ, Lil’ Dicky said that the rappers he met “have been the most enthusiastic” about what he is doing.
“We’re shooting a music video all about how we can make the most epic rap video ever for no money”. Why shouldn’t I get f**king paid?

Scored by his Professional Rapper collabo with Fetty Wap and Rich Homie Quan, the video finds Dicky going door-to-door, asking if he can borrow mansion setups or take Lambos out of the dealership for a quick test-drive in front of the cameras. “This is my time to save that money”.
