Lil Wayne And Young Thug Will Release Albums On Same Day

Not even a whole week later, Young Thug has revealed he will be releasing a mixtape on the same exact day titled ‘Slime Season.’
Although Thug has openly expressed his love for Wayne in the past, calling the rapper his idol, things took a sour turn when Wayne did not reciprocate Thug’s affection. The mixtapes will be produced by London On da Track.
With global album release dates moving to Friday, Thugga could’ve chosen the eve of America’s Independence Day, but he did not.
Earlier this month, Lil Wayne also made headlines when he announced a deal with Jay Z.
“The Internet and blogs took his words out of context”, Bryant told Billboard.
According to, Wayne claims in his documents that Cash Money hasn’t fully compensated a number of people, including the Young Money leader himself, for their work over the years. Receiving pressure from the public and Wayne, Thugger decided to change the title of his album to the Barter 6.
