Lilith calls time on Silent Hills’ spiritual successor Allison Road
Allison Road, the P.T. like horror game from United Kingdom studio Lilith Ltd, has been cancelled, the developer announced on Twitter over the weekend. The company tweeted that a full statement will arrive in the next few days, but there’s already been speculation that Team 17 could have pulled out. The game had been scheduled for release before the end of September.

It isn’t clear why, but Allison Road isn’t happening.
In a way, it’s ironic when you consider that even P.T. aka Silent Hills was cancelled following Konami’s spat with director Hideo Kojima, who would leave the company and form his own independent studio in the process. “Thx for all your support and very sad it came 2 this”, posted the official Allison Road Twitter. That Kickstarter campaign was then cancelled when United Kingdom developer come publisher, Team 17, offered to publish the game.
You remember Allison Road, right?

“Working with Team17 will give us the chance to make our game unhindered creatively”, Lilith had said on its Kickstarter updates page. “For us it’s an incredible opportunity to be part of a label that looks after not only such a massive gaming franchise, but also supports developers like Playtonic, Mouldy Toof and many others”.
