Limousine, 2 other vehicles crash near LA; 11 people injured

Eleven people were injured, including five that were in critical condition, after a limousine struck two vehicles on Newhall Ranch Road near the Interstate 5 Freeway Saturday night, authorities said Sunday.

The crash was reported at 8:17 p.m. on Highway 126, near the 5 Freeway, said Supervisor Michael Pittman of the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

According to KABC, the only person who wasn’t injured was the limo driver.

They were transported to four area hospitals.

Multiple vehicles: Ten people were in the limo including the driver.

Nine people were understood to be riding in the stretch limousine at the time, but their ages and identities are not yet known.

According to the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department, initial reports suggest that the limo ran a red traffic light in Santa Clarita – about 35 miles northwest of the city.
