We’re hoping Lindsay Lohan’s latest Instagram post is a case of very bad timing! Most recently, the 29-year-old posted a photo of herself dressed up like Sharon Tate – coincidentally, on Charles Manson’s 81st birthday.

The redhead posted a mirror selfie Thursday, showing off her ’60s-inspired outfit: a matching crop top and short shorts set paired with thigh-high boots.
Was Lohan simply trying to make headlines by posting the photo captioned “I love Sharon Tate” on Manson’s birthday or is it possible she is just totally clueless? “The caption includes the hashtags, “#cancer meets #AQUARIUS“, “I LOVE SHARON TATE” and “#hippieWINTERCHIC“.
Although Lohan’s Instagram pic garnered 54,000 “likes”, many agreed it was in poor taste, including The Daily Beast writer Amy Zimmerman who calls the actress a “casserole of insane”.
“How tacky…Sharon Tate was brutally murdered”, read a comment by one person, while another user wrote, “Sharon Tate died a tragic death. Murdered while pregnant and you think it’s cute to dress as her on Manson’s Birthday”.

Manson is now serving nine concurrent life sentences at the Corcoran State Prison in California and was denied parole for the 12th time two years ago.
