Lindsey Graham Drops from GOP Ticket
“So, I want to dedicate this campaign to every bar owner”, Graham added. Most importantly, the centerpiece of my campaign has been securing our nation.

Republican Sen. John McCain of Arizona, the 2008 Republican presidential nominee and chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee, said that with Graham’s announcement, “Republicans lost our most qualified, thoughtful, fearless and honest presidential candidate, not to mention the candidate with the best (and it seemed sometimes the only) sense of humor”. Hillary, if you get to be President, I’ll help you where I can. “Today, most of my fellow candidates have come to recognize this is what’s needed”.
“You can care about retail politics and you can execute retail politics, but it doesn’t change who you are and how people perceive your candidacy”, said Dennehy, who called Graham “an awesome person”. “I believe we’ve made enormous progress in this effort”. Never making the main stage in any of the Republican debates, Graham has appeared in the undercard matches – except for the fourth debate in November when he failed to make either stage.
While his race for the White House is over, many expect that he could be in the running to be a defense secretary if the Republicans win the White House.
In New Hampshire, which holds the first-in-the-nation primary on February 9, Bush picked up the support of Pam Patenaude, a former Graham delegate in the state.
But as he visited core GOP supporters in Iowa and New Hampshire, Graham did not back away from positions that separated him from the GOP’s conservative base.
As of Monday, Graham gained only 0.5 percent of support in the RealPolitics’ average of recent national polling.
Another South Carolinian who had backed Graham, former state Commerce Secretary Joe Taylor of Columbia, said he figures he’ll get behind another Republican, though he didn’t know Monday who it would be.
“If Trump was not in this, then Graham would poll pretty high in South Carolina”, Aiesi said. But now, Graham said, others have started to support this.

“This is not a game show, this is not a reality show”, Graham warned. The future of the country will be in your hands if you’re President of the United States.
