Lindsey Graham endorses Jeb Bush. Does that matter?
Republican president candidate Jeb Bush has scored the endorsement of South Carolina Sen. and onetime GOP presidential candidate Lindsey Graham, NBC News reported.

Graham’s decision could be significant in swaying not only South Carolina Republican voters but also his good friend Senator John McCain, the 2008 Republican presidential nominee who remains an influential figure in the party and who has spoken warmly about Bush in recent months.
Kropf notes the endorsement is not unexpected. It might be an important endorsement for Bush, but it’s hard to see how this will help Bush in the polls.

Pointing to his own experience, he said at age 44: “I was not ready to be president”.
Jeb Bush has launched a direct attack on Donald Trump, via television, calling Trump a “jerk” in an advertisement titled, “Enough”.
“South Carolina is going to re-set this race”, Graham said.
Graham applauded Bush for his stance on Muslim immigration – making sure people are “properly vetted” – and plan to combat the Islamic State group.
One Bush adviser in SC, who asked for anonymity to speak frankly about campaign strategy, said that the influx of Graham support in recent weeks has been a “huge help” across the Palmetto State.

“Last night he said “I will have their backs, ‘” Graham said”. And Bush, like many other GOP presidential candidates, reached out to Graham the day he dropped out of the race in December and has been working to secure his support ever since, aides said. “I’m excited about it”. He added that Graham is “probably the most knowledgable person on the Hill” when it comes to foreign policy and national security.
