With only three candidates left in the race, Cruz is now backed by much of the anti-Trump Republican establishment. The poll had Cruz with 36% support, followed by Trump at 35%.

Last year, Trump called on McIntosh to resign, accusing the Club for Growth leader of a “shakedown attempt” shortly before Trump entered the GOP contest. She continued, “So we are not anxious in the least and [we are] focusing on our campaign, and we are going to continue to do that”.
