Lion Killing Dentist’s Florida Home Vandalized
Officials in Africa, who last week charged a guide in the death of a beloved lion named Cecil, now are investigating whether a Murrysville doctor killed a lion in a second possibly illegal hunt.

The death of one of Cecil’s eight cubs has raised fears for his remaining offspring, which could also be targeted by the large predatory male lion.
Muchinguri, a senior member of President Robert Mugabe’s ruling ZANU-PF party, described Cecil, a rare black-maned lion well-known to tourists in the Hwange National Park, as an “iconic attraction”.
Cecil, the lion killed illegally in Zimbabwe by an American dentist, will not have died in vain if what happened to him draws attention to the threat of extinction of his kind.
“Again, I deeply regret that my pursuit of an activity I love and practise responsibly and legally resulted in the taking of this lion”.
A private security agency is now protecting a Marco Island home that was vandalized after its owner drew global ire for killing a venerated lion in Zimbabwe. “They seem to have Minnesota circled on the map and I think I saw one lion on the phone on hold with SouthWest”.
Palmer said he relied on his professional guides to ensure the hunt was legal.
Palmer has now been in hiding for more than a week after being unmasked as the fanatical American bow hunter who slaughtered the famed big cat. First shot by a crossbow and then finally put down 40 hours later by a rifle, he was skilnned and his head was removed.
The United States has yet to respond to Zimbabwe’s request for Palmer to be extradited.
“They (US courts) may actually doubt the competence of the judiciary here to try him in an objective manner, particularly given these prejudicial pronouncements that the politicians are already making”, said Muchadehama.
Cecil had been part of an Oxford University study since 2008 and wore a tracking collar, something Bronkhorst purportedly said he knew nothing about.

In Zimbabwe’s national parks, hunting is illegal – but there are few fences to keep the animals on safe ground.
