It appears that since Neymar arrived at the Nou Camp that Messi has taken him under his wing and helped him improve, giving him very much the same attention he was afforded by Ronaldinho.
“For me, Messi leaving global football does not change anything”, Ronaldinho said.
He said the Argentine had followed in his footsteps by helping to guide Brazil forward Neymar at the Spanish champions. Messi played very well. Neymar is a talent and is a good friend.
Argentina are at risk of not qualifying for the World Cup if Lionel Messi does not play with the team, according to former manager Cesar Luis Menotti. He is the best player in the world. “It’s very important to have experienced and young players to make a good team”.
The 29-year-old Messi, a five times World Player of the Year, is Argentina’s top scorer with 55 goals and although he has played in three Copa America finals in 2007, 2015 and 2016, plus the 2014 World Cup final, Argentina have lost them all.
“For me, Messi leaving global football does not change anything”, Ronaldinho told reporters on Sunday.
With European clubs poaching players from South America at a relatively young age, Crespo, who played for clubs across the continent, including Chelsea and AC Milan, urged aspiring youngsters to stay level-headed when they are in the spotlight. “As a person Messi is still the same and humble like when he started, but as a player he just keeps getting better”.
“For me, this does not change anything”, he said. He is still the best.

“And if he really has made a decision to leave worldwide football then the sport will miss his presence, and so will the fans”, added Ronaldinho, who plays in India’s Premier Futsal league.
