Lionel Messi, Sergio Aguero out of action for Argentina due to injuries
The Manchester City striker threw an elbow at West Ham’s Winston Reid during Sunday’s 3-1 victory at the Etihad Stadium.

The striker could be in trouble with the English FA after television replays appeared to show him elbowing West Ham’s Winston Reid in the throat in an incident missed by the referee at City.
If Aguero is handed a ban, he will miss City’s next match, the Manchester derby against rivals United, on September 10.
Aguero, 28, has until 1800 local time (1700 GMT) on Wednesday to respond to the charge.
A statement from the FA read: “Sergio Aguero has been charged for an alleged act of violent conduct which was not seen by the match officials but caught on video”.
It has since been reviewed by a panel of former elite match officials, all of whom agree the matter would have been a sending-off offence.
City and United will go into their meeting at Old Trafford level on points at the top of the Premier League after each winning their first three matches. “For retrospective action to be taken, and an FA charge to follow, the decision of the panel must be unanimous”.
Aguero has started the season in fine form, netting six times in four appearances in all competitions.
Aguero’s injury has also come as a blow to Argentina’s 2018 World Cup qualifying plans as they have a home game with Uruguay tomorrow and a visit to Venezuela five days later.

West Ham captain Reid had to be taken off midway through the second-half following the collision with Aguero.
