Eric Ebron was called for offensive pass interference to nullify a 1-yard touchdown catch, and Lake Tomlinson was called for holding on the next play to wipe out Boldin’s second touchdown of the game.

Andre Johnson caught a 9-yard scoring pass from Marcus Mariota on fourth down with 1:13 remaining, lifting the Tennessee Titans to a 16-15 penalty-filled win over the Detroit Lions on Sunday at Ford Field.

On the second part of the play, Stafford got rocked himself after delivering the hit, which is probably not something the Lions want to see their franchise quarterback doing.

The Lions were called for 17 penalties for 138 yards.

Mariota finished 25-of-33 for 238 yards with two touchdowns and an interception.

The Lions’ defense produced the first points midway through the opening quarter.

The Detroit Lions didn’t only lose the game against the Tennessee Titans, they may have lost several playmakers, especially on defense.

Lions defensive end Ziggy Ansah, one of the best players on the team, suffered an ankle injury and limped to the locker room.

Stafford scrambled to his left on the play and threw behind the covered receiver for Boldin’s first touchdown as a Lion. WR Kendall Wright and OLB Derrick Morgan, who are nursing hamstring injuries, were among the notable inactives for Tennessee.

The Titans (1-1) ended a five-game losing streak, dating to last December, after Mariota threw two TD passes in the fourth quarter after trailing 15-3.
