Listless Draymond Green has another poor game
With the National Basketball Association having upgraded his Flagrant Foul 1 to a Flagrant Foul 2 and fining him $25,000 for Sunday’s Game 3 incident in which he kicked Oklahoma City Thunder center Steven Adams in the groin, Green was obviously exhausted of having spent 1 1/2 days as the center of attention. We know how good of a team they are.

This is the situation: The Thunder is out-playing, out-hustling and out-thinking the Warriors in every way, from top to bottom, has already won once at Oracle, and even if the Warriors win on Thursday, the Warriors would have to come right back here for Game 6. “I think our energy goes as my energy goes, and I’ve been bad….”
Asked about his mindset being one flagrant foul in the playoffs away from a suspension, Green said, “Game 4 is going to be very exciting”. Either way, Draymond Green pooped out what could perhaps have been his worst game as a professional basketball player for 37 minutes and 48 seconds of the 2016 Western Conference Finals. It’s frustrating, because I know that’s who I always am.
Will Green be suspended?
It will take Kerr and his staff coming up with a few tweaks that help the Warriors find their offensive rhythm and make it tougher on Durant and Westbrook – without anything backfiring on the Warriors. The Thunder have the champs in the middle of the ring and they’re teeing off on them now – jab, jab and roundhouse rights leaving the Warriors bloody, bowed and on the brink. They’re really getting after it and playing well and competing. The Warriors have to be historic again, have to be one of the great teams in history to fight themselves out of this trouble, out of a 3-1 hole.
Oklahoma City’s length and quickness has bedeviled the Warriors’ offense throughout this series, and I don’t know if the Warriors can fix that. That leaves him with three flagrant foul points after he had also been retroactively assessed a Flagrant Foul 1 for his takedown of the Houston Rockets’ Michael Beasley in the first round of the playoffs.
The Thunder now lead the Warriors 2-1 in the series. “He’s still pretty sore, but we’re going to wait and see”.
Motivational Mamba got in the outspoken forward’s ear after his team lost game four.

A glimpse of Green’s foul can be seen in this video. So I don’t understand how that can be deemed a flagrant 1. Better will get them run out of Oracle in Game 5, run out of the season. “We have a banner hanging up in here and we take great pride in that”. “It’s a Game 4 (and) we’ve got to win”. “They are determined, and they want what we have”, Kerr said. Green was adamant in the locker room after the game that he wouldn’t have done that on goal, and believed the flagrant ruling would ultimately be rescinded.
