In the teaser videos, below, Kate goes on to discuss her personal relationship with the Queen, plus there are teasers from interviews with other members of the Royal Family, including Prince William and Prince Harry. Anxious about how it would turn out to be, she made a decision to prepare “chutney” that her grandmother used to make. “I was thinking, ‘Gosh, what should I give her?'” Kate recalled in an interview for a documentary celebrating the queen’s 90th birthday.
Duchess Kate revealed what happened when she found herself in that dilemma years ago upon joining Queen Elizabeth for her first Christmas at the royal’s Sandringham country estate in Norfolk, England.
She described the Queen’s gesture of putting the chutney on the table as showing the monarch’s “thoughtfulness” and “her care in looking after everybody”.
Kate Middleton is often seen rather than heard, but in a rare-quite rare-interview for a new documentary celebrating Queen Elizabeth’s 90th birthday, Princess Kate speaks candidly about her cherubic children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte.
‘I was slightly anxious about it, but I noticed the next day that it was on the table.
George’s mum Kate explains, ‘George is only two and a half. For Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton, that meant making something from the heart.
“It’s very special having a new little girl…” On top of revealing that the queen was “really thrilled” that Kate had a little girl, she added, “I think as soon as we came back here to Kensington, she was one of our first visitors here”. “We’re very lucky that George got a little sister”. And I thought, “I’ll make her something”.
