In addition to the iPhone 7, Apple is also likely to unveil its next Apple Watch along with details about its future iDevices including the iPad and Mac.

There’s also been rumors that the iPhone will come in two black colors: dark black and piano black. The last iPhone, the shrunken-down and discounted SE, certainly sparked more interest, gaining 10.3% in the 30 days prior to the March 2016 announcement as the S&P 500 rose 6.9%.

You can buy new, wired headphones based on the Lightning standard. It basically spoils the Apple surprise: the iPhone 7. Apple apparently packed four LEDs into the new True Tone Flash, up from two LEDs on the iPhone 6s.

According to market research firm eMarketer, Apple will have a 43.5% share of the US smartphone market in 2016, to 52% for Google’s Android system.

For many people, listening to music and watching video – not to mention making the occasional phone call – constitutes one of the main uses for a smartphone. On the other hand, Apple argues that digital alternatives – either wireless Bluetooth headphones or headphones connected to the iPhone’s remaining lightning port – actually delivers superior sound quality.

If that doesn’t come to pass, the closest we’ve got in the United Kingdom are network-led trade-in schemes, like O2 Refresh and Vodafone Trade-in, though they still leave you (more or less) tied to individual mobile providers, rather than your device of choice.

It’ll run on a new four-core “A10 Fusion” chip. Customers expecting a completely remade phone this year could be disappointed.
