You can order the device via Moto Maker, but you can’t choose the white and gold or black and rose gold options available to Verizon.

The Moto Z is a darn nice phone, but unfortunately it was a verizon exclusive when it launched in the USA two months ago.
The Moto Z, which is the spiritual successors of the original Moto X of a year ago, was first unveiled at Lenovo’s Tech World conference in San Francisco, earlier in June. We hope the company also launched the Moto Z Force and Moto Z Play alongside the Moto Z. In China, the company also launched the Hasselblad Moto Mod that offers 10X optical zoom, Xenon flash, and a physical shutter button. What the anonymous source has told TechDroider however, is that the fingerprint sensor will be located around the back of the phone and not be part of the telltale Moto dimple that the firm houses their logo inside of. Both the devices come with high-end specifications, and the Moto Mods can be added to the rear.
The USP of the Moto Z lies in its all-metal body which comes with 16 magnetic connector pins on the rear. The unlocked Moto Z comes with the same specs as the Moto Z Droid sold at Verizon, but it lacks all the bloatware that carriers usually install on devices sold through their networks.

Touted as one of world’s slimmest smartphones with a thickness of 5.2mm, the Moto Z flaunts a 5.5-inch QHD (2560×1440 pixels) AMOLED display. Said filing mentioned that the Moto M and Moto M Plus would be packing a MediaTek MT6750 under-the-hood, giving it an octa-core CPU with clock speeds up to 1.9 Ghz and is paired with 3GB of RAM. The Moto Z packs a 4GB LPDDR4 RAM with 32GB / 64GB internal memory with a microSD card slot for memory expansion up to 2TB. The phone runs Android Marshmallow and is backed by a 2,600 mAh battery. The Moto Z Force features a 21-megapixel rear camera of aperture f/1.8, OIS and 4K video recording capabilities, and a 5-megapixel selfie camera. The company claims that the battery is good enough to last for up to 40 hours on single charge.
