Liverpool could offload Balotelli to China
While it’s highly unlikely that Balotelli, who is spending the season on loan at AC Milan and is now on the out with Rossoneri boss Sinisa Mihajlovic, would be a significant contribution towards that goal, the media absolutely love to talk about him and he’d certainly keep the league in the headlines – probably for all the wrong reasons, but there’s no such thing as bad press, right?

But the Reds remain confident that a deal could be reached with a Chinese Super League outfit, with a number of clubs from the Far East having enquired about the player’s situation.
Liverpool are looking to tap into the Far East market by trying to secure a multi-million pound sponsorship deal while also viewing China as an ideal place to offload flop Mario Balotelli.
In the last few weeks alone the likes of Jackson Martinez, Ezequiel Lavezzi, Fredy Guarin, Alex Teixeira and Ramires have all moved to the Chinese Super League.
The former Manchester City forward’s career on Merseyside had actually started brightly, having shown signs of a potential partnership withDaniel Sturridge on his debut away at Tottenham Hotspur – a game that Liverpool won 3-0.
A move to China would be Balotelli’s fifth in as many years, marking a torrid lack of endeavour from the Italian.
Commercial manager Billy Hogan has been in Asia this week to negotiate with three interested companies over naming rights to the new stand, according to the reports, which would be worth £7 million to £9 million a year for 10 years to the club (HK$78 million to HK$100 million per year).
