Liverpool crush Hull to boost title credentials

Having been dropped by Jurgen Klopp and sent home from the Reds’ pre-season tour of the U.S. for generally pratting about, Sakho is now in limbo at Anfield after falling out of favour and struggling to come to terms with his deployment in the reserve ranks this season. ‘Still working hard like Scouse Soldier! You write what you want and I say what I want. I will speak soon for the people who support me and don’t understand the situation.

“It’s not about how the player feels, it’s about how I feel”.

“Of course he is closer to fitness, but there is a big difference between match fitness and everything”.

The Reds have played only one game thus far at home, beating Leicester City 4-1 following a brilliant performance up front by the likes of Philippe Coutinho and company, as they have bedded themselves quite well with the manager’s high pressing system.

Is Sakho is refusing to accept his behaviour falls below Klopp’s standards? Perhaps it’s going to need more time than he thought.

Asked what Sakho needed to do to get back in the side, Carra said: “Behave himself by the sound of it!”

“I accepte [sic] my situation but I can’t accepte [sic] the lie”.

“He’s come back and obviously things have gone on”. Klopp added. “I’m pleased but until now we did what we think was the minimum that we should have done”.

Either way, it certainly looks as though Sakho’s time at Anfield is over, and he will now have to wait until January to seal a move away from the club.

Simon Mignolet has done little wrong this season but he is set for the Liverpool bench for the next few weeks.
