Mario Balotelli, Tiago Ilori, Lazar Markovic and Mamadou Sakho are all among those that Jurgen Klopp wants to move on, according to reports. The German tactician has told the French centre-half to go out on loan to prove himself as he is no longer part of his first-team plans for this season.
The Merseyside club have already accepted one loan offer from Stoke, but the player turned the move down.
The ban also led to him being omitted from Didier Deschamps’ France squad for this summer’s European Championships. Having arrived late for Liverpool’s flight to the U.S. for the pre-season tour the centre-back continued to frustrate Klopp to the extent that the German boss decided enough was enough and sent him home in disgrace.
The arrival of Ragnar Klavan has since pushed Sakho further down the central-defensive pecking order, as the Estonian is vying with Dejan Lovren and Joel Matip for a first-team place.
But Sakho seems unlikely follow former Reds partner and new Fenerbahce signing Martin Skrtel to Istanbul, and it seems increasingly unlikely that he will leave Liverpool at all before tonight’s 11pm deadline.
More likely is the departure of players deemed surplus to requirements, including the likes of Mamadou Sakho, who has been told he can head out on loan for the rest of the season.

Jürgen Klopp, the Liverpool manager, believes Sakho still has a future at Anfield, report the Liverpool Echo.
