Ibe also missed the Exeter game with a hamstring strain, but Klopp said: “For Jordon Ibe, Hendo and Mama, we have good news”.

Liverpool’s now injured centre-back Dejan Lovren has made some rather bold comments about our supporters, who were highly critical of his performances after arriving from Southampton in summer 2014.

Jurgen Klopp could welcome back FOUR players for the visit of Arsenal as Liverpool ‘s injury list begins to subside. “For now though we have Kolo and Mama to talk about, and then there is also Lucas-so three who can play at centre-back”. I’m a football manager and they’re football players and they wanted to win and, when the dust settles, I’m going to be really pleased with what we’ve done. Martin (Skrtel) is still a few weeks, Dejan the time of injury is only 6 days, something like 8 or 12 maybe (before he can return), so it’s close. “That’s the situation, but next week it could be different”.

Such a pairing was far from ideal for Liverpool as a youthful side rescued a replay against their League Two opponents courtesy of a late equaliser from Brad Smith.

“In Germany, when you tell people about the FA Cup that if you draw you play again, they say ‘what?'”. They are leading the table with 42 points after 20 matches.

“We tried to create chances and we kept the ball well”.

Arsenal conducted an internal inquiry at the end of last season after suffering a plethora of muscular problems throughout the squad but that did not prevent another campaign blighted by fitness setbacks.

He said: “When I came here, I didn’t know there were two rounds in the semi-final of the Capital One Cup!”

“It’s very important to be focused game by game”.

Manchester City will be away at either fourth-tier Wycombe Wanderers or relegation-threatened Premier League side Aston Villa.
