Liverpool deny Barcelona starlet Adama Traore has agreed Anfield loan switch

The Reds sent representatives to Barcelona last week in a bid to negotiate a deal for the youngster and they appear on the verge of getting their target.

Should Barcelona insist on this provision, Liverpool are unlikely to go through with their swoop for Traore, who would be a luxury signing for Brendan Rodgers rather than a necessary one.

But Lopez, who was appointed head coach just last week, is hopeful the player will be around to help Barcelona B in their attempts to climb back into the Segunda Division.

Whilst a move to Anfield may well prove a grander proposition an Everton switch is far more likely to lead to Adama Traore garnering some much needed top level experience that could aid the 19-year-old’s overall career progression.

However, since then talks have been stalled on a deal with the Reds now in the lead and Spanish outlet RAC1 stated that the senior club officials had travelled to Spain, to get a deal done soon for the superstar winger.
