The Reds have already qualified for the last 32 following a 2-1 victory over Bordeaux last month and they head into tonight’s game sitting top of Group B.

Jurgen Klopp admits he is getting exhausted of discussing the fitness of striker Daniel Sturridge but says he has no plans to reinforce his attacking line. “Of course, we also have [Danny] Ingsy but he’s not available at the moment”.
Henderson completed 77 minutes during a dismal goalless draw, secured on a semi-frozen pitch, to hand Klopp some welcome injury news following the England midfielder’s extended absence because of a heel problem.
Klopp is keen on getting to know his current crop of players but stated that under the right circumstances a winter transfer could end up being a possibility. At this moment, we have no problems with quality.
“The good thing with the muscle injury is he could start to run and all the others things he needs, but not play football”.
“We have to train with him and make sessions with him as soon as he’s prepared for them”.
Liverpool are looking at options and if they are to do any business, it will be for Marko Grujic, the highly-regarded Serbia Under-21 worldwide, who now plays for Red Star Belgrade; they do, however, face competition from Inter Milan for his signature.
Klopp added: “We saw the pitch and we knew what could happen on a pitch like this but as a manager you have to ignore it”. The next two years will prove whether Sturridge goes down in history as one of the most lethal strikers in the Premier League era or as one of the biggest who could never reach the heights expected of him.

Although Liverpool held Smith’s registration after his contract expired last summer, Klopp said it was a bonus to him when he realised the Australian global was still on the club’s books and he was eligible to rejoin the squad having signed a new deal. “It’s a situation I can work with”, he told a press conference ahead of Sunday’s game against West Brom at Anfield.
