“I’m sure Liverpool are sensible enough to make this not a big issue and to listen to the fans”.

Speaking to the Liverpool Echo-as reported by Liverpool fan blog Empire of the Kop-Klopp has weighed in on the ongoing controversy, and urged the club to find a solution.

“I hope Liverpool are big enough to work it out. We have to look at who will start – they can’t all start together, that’s not possible because we know we would have to change three times because the whole game would be too much in this moment”. “We are really interested in finding a solution”.

On Monday, Liverpool cancelled a planned Q&A session with chief executive Ian Ayre to discuss the matter.

Liverpool manager Juergen Klopp will return to the dugout for their FA Cup fourth-round replay at West Ham United after missing the draw with Sunderland due to illness.

“But everything I could say about this now would make it more complicated because first of all I have to collect a few bits of information”.

“I’m not anxious, no”, Klopp responded.

“I understand there’s got to be revenue, but players are getting paid ridiculous amounts of money”.

Defoe’s goal against Liverpool was his sixth in his past six league games, and the 33-year-old said he was enjoying his role as striker under manager Sam Allardyce after being deployed out wide under the Englishman’s predecessor, Dick Advocaat.

Carragher also claimed that pricing certain tickets at a high rate meant the average fan was being shut out of the club.

“It’s because I feel good (that I am here), that’s pretty easy”.

“I can’t say anything about the first [league] game against West Ham when I was not in charge but the second game we were really bad and that is the reason why they could win”.

“We have got Manchester City and Chelsea at Anfield so those two league matches – where prices are still going to be on the forefront of people’s minds – will be opportunities where we will discuss what action we take next”, McKenna added.

“We’ve played Liverpool many times this season, twice recently with different line-ups”, said Bilic as quoted by the BBC.
