Liverpool handed injury boost ahead of Crystal Palace test
Forget all the contenders for the top spots in the Premier League, if there’s one team that Liverpool should dread facing it’s Crystal Palace.

Liverpool are unbeaten in 12 games in all competitions, and since Jurgen Klopp took over from Brendan Rodgers on October 8, the Reds have conceded only three goals in six games.
Alan Pardew’s side have been very tough to beat this season and they will go to Anfield and set up to play on the counter attack using the pace on their wings to try to get in behind Liverpool’s back four and with Puncheon, Zahah, Campbell, Gayle and Bolasie there is plenty of talent with which Crystal Palace could hurt Liverpool. He’s a different kind of threat to what they’ve had before and a great signing, I think.
“Kevin Keegan, John Toshack, Kenny Dalglish, they’ve always had these players”.
“It was great to play again, it’s been a long time coming – I have been out for several weeks so it was nice to just play”, he said.
“We have come up against everyone in form, we are having one of those runs”.
Palace memorably left the Reds’s Premier League title bid in tatters in May 2014 after Liverpool squandered a 3-0 lead to draw 3-3 with the London side at Selhurst Park.
– Crystal Palace have scored three goals in each of their last three Barclays Premier League meetings with Liverpool.
The pundits were all saying that Liverpool’s trip to Stamford Bridge last weekend was going to be new boss Jurgen Klopp’s biggest test since he moved to Merseyside last month, but after he masterminded a convincing 3-1 win over the Blues, that prediction might have been a bit short sighted.
Crystal Palace have only scored four goals in their last seven Premier League matches and three of those have been Yohan Cabaye penalties.
That’d put them in line to face co-leaders Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium, but no one’s looking quite that far ahead as they work toward fitness at Melwood.

Sensational winger Philippe Coutinho had a brace during the match while the resurging Christian Benteke sealed the match with a goal at the 83rd minute.
