Liverpool join race to sign Joe Hart
Liverpool have reportedly joined Merseyside rivals Everton in the battle for Manchester City’s Joe Hart, who has seemingly been deemed surplus to requirements at the Etihad, Sky Sports report.

New boss Pep Guardiola underlined that Toure is not part of his plans by leaving him out of the squad that travelled to Bucharest for tonight’s vital Champions League play-off first leg against Steaua.
Juventus veteran goalie, Gigi Buffon has backed Joe Hart to come back stronger, after he was relegated to the bench by Guardiola.
Regardless, the signing would nearly certainly spell the end of Hart’s time at Manchester City, where he has won two Premier League titles.
“It is disgusting”, Barton, who departed City in 2007, told talkSPORT.
It is a remarkable change of situation for 29-year-old Hart, who has been one of the mainstays of City’s successes in recent years and was one of their most consistent performers last season.
“The club I played for wouldn’t have treated a player that had been a servant for as long as Joe has in the manner that it has”. “The club I left and watch now are two totally different organisations”. I would like them to go to the stadium and for them to think “wow, I like how they play”. Why treat him like that?’
“I don’t see what he has done wrong to be treated the way he has”.
“I have a lot of respect of him, for his career and quality, but for the first days – against Sunderland – we were looking for a more intensive game”, Guardiola said. “That’s what every manager should do, give everyone an opportunity”.

After a winning debut against Sunderland in the Premier League, the Citizens now turn their attention to Europe, and the game against Steaua is the first step to improve last season’s campaign, the club’s best ever run in the Champions League.
