In-form Liverpool eased into the fourth round of the EFL Cup with a comprehensive 3-0 victory over Derby County at the iPro Stadium on Tuesday.

Liverpool then hit their hosts with a quick-fire double at the start of the second half to put the contest to bed, Coutinho slotting home before setting up Divock Origi to hammer in a drive from a tight angle.

‘We have to think about the line-up but in a positive way now, ‘ said Klopp.

“We are able to create chances against each team”. We can use him, that’s good. Yes, but is that important? No. That’s why he signed Gini Wijnaldum who has started every Premier League game so far and you can see stylistically that Grujic is not entirely dissimilar to the Dutchman.

“We could’ve been better in the first half with the last pass and in the second with our counter-attack but we will take 3-0”.

“The pleasing thing is that I don’t feel anything”, Klopp said. Colley says. “They think you’re a good, you know, family man”.

“That’s what we expect from us”. It sounded like they weren’t ready for the Premier League but they are because of a very experienced coach and a great attitude so we have to perform’.

“We bought very good players and everyone is almost fit and we have a strong squad”, Can was quoted as saying on Liverpool’s official site.

Imagine if Liverpool had kept these three, all of whom were let go too early…

Having shown Mario Balotelli and Christian Benteke the Anfield door and with the future of Daniel Sturridge and his inability to stay fit raising concerns over his long-term future at the club, Klopp is in need of bringing in the right reinforcements in attached.

Furthermore, Liverpool have hit 15 goals in five matches since being beaten by Burnley, while the Tigers were taken apart in a 4-1 defeat at the hands of Arsenal in their previous Premier League outing.

“I can guarantee it’s not about the attitude of the players”.

“We have to deal with bus parking”, admitted Klopp. We need to sort some things.

“Like always when I decide for the next game then it is a decision for a player and not against another player – you will have to wait and see”.
