Jordan Henderson and Daniel Sturridge both made returns from injury as second half substitutes in Liverpool’s 1-0 win over Swansea City. Victory took the Reds to within four points of a Champions League spot and six behind leaders Manchester City, whom they beat last weekend. And with Jonjo Shelvey missing out on this game, they’ll have a more conservative player in midfield, not someone who tries ambitious shots and through balls.

The German will no doubt be looking to build from the wins against Manchester City and Bordeaux over the past seven days. This is clearly one of the game’s you must watch. Playing cautiously is smart, but we expect an action-packed game against Swansea today.
