Liverpool must overcome fear factor: Klopp
Jurgen Klopp has described Liverpool’s League Cup game against Bournemouth on Wednesday as “the most important in the world” as he looks for his first win in charge at Anfield.

Reds striker Christian Benteke headed in against Southampton at Anfield to put Klopp on course for his first win.
Both Liverpool and Bournemouth needed penalty shootouts to make it to this round of the Capital One Cup. I think throughout we showed our qualities. “I enjoy working with these guys – and Cameron is really a talent”. “We take it seriously and the team who will start tomorrow will be a strong team”.
“We can talk about why we didn’t make the next step, why we didn’t do this – but we all know it takes time”.
“Everybody can see we need the results. I’d say a year ago for a few months for sure he was the best player in the Bundesliga”, Klopp said.
“We have to find solutions”.
Manchester United and Manchester City played out a scoreless draw in the Premier League on Sunday, while Tottenham surged to a big victory at Bournemouth. I can enjoy these games – I love to work in this atmosphere.
“We can work with this result”, Klopp said after the Southampton game. “It is one point, one point, one point, one point, but out of the five, Chelsea and Liverpool are hard away games that tells how we grow as a team”.
However, he has since picked up another knock and has been missing from Liverpool’s last three games with a knee problem. “It won’t be possible to make the number of changes we have in previous rounds”, added Tindall. “No, no, no. I really want to win and this is why we change”.
-Liverpool have drawn eight of their last nine games in all competitions. James Milner is out suspended, so he will also need a new captain.
Klopp has not said which of those he would like to recall, but has made clear that he has considered bringing players back – not least because it would have given him more options for the Bournemouth clash, which is his team’s fourth match in 12 days.

The striker is once again recovering more slowly than expected from an injury and has not yet returned to training after picking up what appeared to be a minor knee problem. “He is not in training”, Klopp said, as quoted by the club’s official website. “He is getting better but not quick enough to change the situation for us”. It’s an identity the Reds have failed to replace since the departures of men like Jamie Carragher and Steven Gerrard, meaning a lot of Merseysiders are looking to the next generation for a homegrown hero.
