Mane played a starring role in Liverpool’s 4-1 demolition of reigning Premier League champions Leicester City on Saturday evening, claiming a goal and an assist.

The Reds broke the deadlock after 13 minutes as Roberto Firmino collected a pass from James Milner, before cutting inside and firing into the bottom corner.
That said, only Schmeichel had prevented Liverpool scoring another goal on 26 minutes after Mane played a brilliant one-two with Lallana and crossed to the near post, where a Sturridge shot was superbly kept out by the Leicester goalkeeper.
Liverpool played their first three Premier League matches of the season away from home as the reconstruction of Anfield continued.
“We’ve had two weeks now and I hear a little bit of doubt in your questions”, said Klopp. They were inspired. It was hard for us to stop them.

Klopp revealed he had brought his players to the redeveloped stadium on Thursday for a training session to help them acclimatise to their new surroundings.

Things will not get any easier as Leicester try to juggle the demands of the Champions League, which begins for them this week with a trip to face Club Brugge.
“Our squad was not too small, not too big, but we found a few really good young players in this pre-season where it was like “wow”.
Ranieri was unable to keep N’Golo Kante this summer but the likes of Kasper Schmeichel, Jamie Vardy and Riyad Mahrez all stayed put.
“We were strong physically, flexible, quick, creative”.
Danny Simpson was forced to withdraw in the first half through injury, and Ranieri said he will find out tomorrow if the defender will be fit enough to line up against the Belgian side.
