Reports in the national press claim Swansea have seen an £8 million bid for the Wales midfielder rejected by Liverpool.

But Reds fans are clearly not keen to let him go without a fight and have made a decision to dedicate today to Allen, with #JoeAllenAppreciationDay trending on social media.
Sevilla too have identified Allen as a player who would instantly improve their options in the centre of the park under incoming manager Jorge Sampaoli.
Allen is open to a move away from Anfield having failed to establish himself as a first team regular under the German since he took charge in October of a year ago.
As reported by The Express, Allen has been rumoured to be exiting Anfield for a while now with the likes of former club Swansea looking to be interested in signing the 26-year-old.
The Welshman supposedly peaked the interest of Sevilla during his cameo in the 2016 Europa League final, which saw the Spanish side overcome the Reds 3-1 in Basel.
The Spaniards are in need of reinforcements in central midfield after losing Ever Banega to Inter Milan and are hopeful they could tempt Allen to move to the Ramon Sanchez Pijuan as they are able to offer Champions League football.

“We have a WhatsApp messaging group and at least once a week we have a Joe Allen Appreciation Day”, Williams said. “I always look at all my former players”. The player’s agent, Bartlomiej Bolek told Goal: “He is completely focused on the Euros and nothing else now”.
