Liverpool win 3-1 to extend Chelsea’s misery

Mourinho seems confident in the latter outlook.

The defending Premier League champions are in the midst of their worst start to a campaign in decades, having already lost five of their opening 10 games.

“I am not anxious (about my future)”.

When he was asked in the post-match press conference if he expected to be dismissed, a tight-lipped Mourinho responded: “No, I don’t”. Then we made more goals, two more ideal moments for us, you need a little bit of luck of course but I feel it was deserved.

“Howard Webb says”, Mourinho said.

Mourinho was given a heavy fine and a suspended one-match stadium ban for criticising refereeing decisions earlier in the season and he was banished to the stands in Chelsea’s previous game, a defeat at West Ham.

He certainly brought his A game to the Bridge in a dazzling display that has saw Liverpool rise to seventh in the Premier League table.

Mourinho plans to prepare for Wednesday’s Champions League Group G clash with Dynamo Kiev as normal. He won the award from Barclays, the managers’ association and everything.

“And suddenly, you (the media) were really happy and working hard until he was sacked”. But this [management] is the only job where people get excited at that. But with all the respect, Liverpool is a big club and last season Liverpool won nothing and didn’t qualify for the Champoins League, and it is still a big club.

“In life, like in football you have to make mistakes to learn from it. I don’t know the team long enough to imagine all of the reactions of my team in specific situations”. “I will go to a big club in the Premier League or Serie A”.

After winning the league last season, Chelsea has been horrific on the pitch, looking slow, lacking creativity and failing to play as a unit at the back.

Mourinho also declined to comment on two disciplinary matters hanging over him.

Klopp, who recently quit as the Borussia Dortmund coach, said the tie has a few great history but presently his focus will be on how to win the contest and they would not think too much of the opponent.
