Liverpool without ANY fit central defenders for Exeter clash
Jurgen Klopp confirmed to reporters today that Lovren will miss a couple of weeks and Coutinho the rest of the month with hamstring injuries picked up in Tuesday’s League Cup win over Stoke City.

Liverpool’s growing injury crisis means they are expected to field a much-changed side away to Sky Bet League 2 outfit Exeter in Friday night’s FA Cup third-round tie. Kolo Touré will also be absent against Exeter.
“We do not know exactly how long, but it is really rare that it is any quicker”.
Kolo should be available next week, Dejan will be available after Manchester United.
“Phil needs one, maybe two weeks longer, so three weeks”. Evans feels that Klopp will have no option but to dip into the transfer market. We had a good structure, played good football, everything was good, but we don’t score enough goals. I do not know who will be available. Sometimes they are in hard positions at their clubs or it is a question of money.
“We have thought the last few days about what we can do in our situation and the first thing is we take back our own players”, Klopp added.

“Injuries? Yeah that’s it, we will look at our training!”
Klopp has already pointed out his team are doing more recovery sessions than training because of the fixture congestion and the gradual drain on resources has put additional strain on the remaining fit players.
Liverpool’s victory over Stoke City in the Capital One Cup semi-final yesterday was a result of manager Juergen Klopp’s frank criticism of his players, midfielder Joe Allen has said.
Klopp is renowned for his intense training methods and high-energy style of play but chartered physiotherapist Sammy Margo believes that approach could now be hurting the Liverpool squad.
“It’s great that the players have been able to carry it out but I think it has kicked in now”.
“These guys are young, they’re fit, they can recover quickly but even with those factors and an awesome medical team they’re still struggling”. Everybody wants to play a big team.

“We have the capability to get back into it. There are pressures when you are the home side so you can use that as the visiting side”.
