Instead, simply revoke permissions in the security sections of your Google account, and it shouldn’t affect the way you play the app.
Niantic added that Google will soon change the app so that it only asks for permission to view users’ basic profile data.

In an interview with Gizmodo, Reeve said he isn’t “100 percent sure” that Pokemon Go can read users’ emails.
