Local Easter egg hunt events
The first egg hunt of the day will begin at 9 a.m.at Salem Lutheran Church, 401 E. Military Ave., in Fremont. Children in grade six and younger are invited to come search for eggs, candy and prizes.

Easter worship service is set for Sunday, March 27, 11 a.m., with special music by the church choir.
Hop over to Mormon Station State Historic Park in Genoa from 10 a.m.to 2 p.m. Saturday for the inaugural Cotton Tails Easter celebration, which includes a pancake brunch by executive chef April Woodward. Brunch will follow at Legacy House, located at 79 E. Center Street. The hunt will be divided into two groups: ages 1-5 years and ages 6-10 years.
1 will host its 21 annual Easter Egg Hunt at Merritt Island inviting kids and their families to head out, hunt for some eggs, enjoy a treat and a host of other activities in support of Big Brothers, Big Sisters of South Niagara.

The New Life bash – now in its fifth year – is much more than just a chance to hunt for 15,000 free Easter eggs which, is the largest number being hidden in the area. All children ages 3-10 are welcome to participate.
The Chaffee-Sardinia Kiwanis Club will its annual community Easter Egg Hunt at the Sardinia Town Park at 1 p.m. on March 26.

Anderson Lions Club Egg Hunt: 9 a.m. Sunday at the Moose Grove at Anderson River Park, 2800 Rupert Road in Anderson. Face painting and balloon animals will also be featured.
