Local Resorts Join Attempt to Set Largest Ski/Snowboard Lesson

About 50 people are registered for the class at Powder Ridge, said Laura Loffredo, the director of sales and marketing for Powder Ridge.
Powderhorn Mountain Resort was one of over 150 ski areas in the country participating in an attempt to set a Guinness Book of World of Records for the largest ski lesson at multiple venues.
“The World’s Largest Lesson is a fantastic opportunity to get an introduction to skiing and snowboarding and get more people interested and involved in the sport”, said Nick Scott Sr., president and owner of Scott Enterprises.
Mount Ashland’s general manager says that they would be happy if 10 people came for the lesson.
Friday was Learn to Ski Day at ski areas nationwide with places like Arapahoe Basin taking part.

It’ll take about 3 weeks to know for sure if the record was reached and Alpine joins the Guinness Book of World Records.
