Authorities in SC are investigating the death of a woman from upstate NY as a homicide.

A 24-year-old man is accused of killing his pregnant ex-girlfriend and leaving her body in a parking lot, according to Horry County police. Mike Ramos was appointed as his attorney.

A day after announcing their findings to the public and requesting information, police highlighted DiTillio’s ex-boyfriend as the prime suspect of her death.

Kalb was booked into the Brunswick County Detention Center on Wednesday on an unrelated charge, assault on a female, after he allegedly grabbed and struck another woman on the face past year, according to an arrest warrant.

The warrants stated the van had a tread pattern similar to what investigators found at the scene where DiTillio’s body was discovered. Lt. Bonner did reveal what evidence led them to seek the murder charge against Kalb. Authorities have also obtained a warrant for Kalb for possession of a weapon during a violent felony, Bonner said.
