Lochte dance show disrupted

Footage released by ABC Tuesday show two men wearing anti-Ryan Lochte T-shirts striding onto the dancing floor of “Dancing With the Stars” and yelling “You’re a liar” as contestant Lochte received a critique for his debut performance during the live show Monday night.

It showed two men wearing anti-Lochte T-shirts going on the stage, shouting as they walked near Lochte, while he and dance partner Cheryl Burke were being critiqued by judges after their foxtrot.

The two men were detained by security until police arrived to take them into custody, Los Angeles police spokesman Mike Lopez said.

The incident clearly upset Lochte, who has been suspended for 10 months by the Unite States Olympic Committee and USA Swimming after he and teammates Gunnar Bentz, Jack Conger and Jimmy Feigen vandalized a gas station bathroom in Rio during the Summer Olympics.

“We had to go to break because we had a little incident”, Bergeron said. ABC said four to five other women were escorted out of the audience after chanting against Lochte. “A little hurt”, Lochte told Bergeron. The show cut to commercial break following the disruption, and when it returned host Tom Bergeron said there had been “an incident”. The incident occurred as Lochte was being critiqued by one of the judges on his dance routine. I didn’t know if they like had anything, had a gun, I don’t know what would have happened. Inaba asked the men to stop as the show stayed on a split screen of her and a replay of Lochte’s performance.

Inaba also posted a photo on social media expressing her thanks to the “DWTS” security team.

Of course, we’re not sure how he injured his ankle as we see in every angle that he really just moved out of the way, and behind Cheryl, when the security guard tackled the protester.
