Now here is an amusing piece of news. Turns out, in London the fire department is often contacted by people, who end up having foreign objects stuck in the most embarrassing parts of their body or some embarrassing part of their body stuck in some equipment. It isn’t that this very thing doesn’t happen in the US, but the only difference is that unlike the fire departments in the US the London Fire department has decided to break its silence about this issue. In fact, the fire department has advised especially men to desist from stick their private parts into things like kitchen and household appliances.

As outrageous as the whole thing might sound to most, there are people out there who actually do such things and that too apparently without thinking about the dire consequences. The last straw for the London fire department was probably an incident when a man’s penis had to be freed from a vacuum cleaner. Each year there are enough such cases that the fire department has to deal with, which is why, it is no more amusing but a cause for concern. To put a stop to it or at least reduce the number of such cases the fire department has come up with a clever solution. It has decided to publicly shame those who indulge in such acts.
In other words, the department via social media would make public any such weird or odd request it gets from people. Well, to be honest this might not really discourage these idiots, who are so desperate that they are willing to severely injure themselves just for a few moments of weird pleasure. Even in cities like LA in the US, there are such incidents that take place, but the numbers aren’t really high, but some incidents can be called nothing short of gruesome.
There are people with rings stuck around their penises that firemen have had to rescue. The scariest part is the fact that things like plasma cutters or bolt cutters had to be used to get the rings off. Surely, the thought must have most men squirming in their seats. Naturally, no fire department anywhere in the world would be happy, if its resources have to be used in this fashion, when there might be more pressing emergencies that might need attention at that very moment. All in all the London fire department has taken the right decision; one can only hope it works.
