The Mayor of London Sadiq Khan has said he’d like to introduce Donald Trump to his wife, Saadiya, and two teenage daughters, to allay the presidential nominee’s concerns about Muslims.

On Monday, following the explosions in NY and New Jersey that remain under investigation, Khan said “London stands shoulder-to-shoulder with NY”, and added that the residents of his city and the Big Apple “have a lot in common”.
“We know that London is going to do unbelievable, and nothing is going to change”, said WeWork CEO Adam Neumann.
London Mayor Sadiq Khan on Monday offered ideas for combatting homegrown terror and extremism in the wake of a bombing that rocked New York City over the weekend.
Asked what authorities can do to try and mitigate the threat, which Khan acknowledged was coming not just from overseas, but from European- and American-born, radicalized extremists, he noted the deemed success of the London Metropolitan Police’s “police by consent” policy, which puts significant emphasis on community outreach.
Mr Neumann says that the short-term uncertainty, bizarrely is creating more opportunity for his company, with big companies reluctant to taking new headquarters and using his sites instead.
Brexit’s economic baggage hasn’t seemed to hurt the USA relationship with London, as the UK’s tech sector netted more than $500 million in investments since June 23, the day the nation voted to separate from the EU.
Here in NY the person on the street is only dimly aware that Brexit exists.
Over the last five years London’s booming tech sector has been an increasingly attractive investment destination. He added that he’d like to take the Republican candidate to “parts of London that are incredibly diverse”. He will urge them to follow the example of two NY based businesses, which will today confirm that they are expanding their operations in London.
The company is already one of the largest New York-based companies to invest in London with 10 locations across London and over 10,000 members. 5000 named BounceX the #1 fastest growing software company in America in 2016. The Mayor will join Pavegen founder and CEO, Laurence Kemball-Cook in showing how Pavegen’s flooring technology can turn footsteps into renewable electricity by stepping on some tiles to light up a #LondonIsOpen sign.
“London needs that control so that we can protect jobs and growth and make London a better city to live in for all Londoners”.
