The 500-lap, 266.5-mile Irwin Tools Night Race at Bristol Motor Speedway is set to go green shortly after 7:30 p.m. ET Saturday August, 22nd.

Blaney rebounded after losing a lap early on the 0.533-mile oval when he was given a pass-through penalty for jumping a restart while leading. Here’s a look at the odds for the race.

“It feels really good”, said Blaney in victory lane. He was supposed to race in the Drive to Stop Diabetes 300 at Bristol back in April, but the team switched he and Joey Logano, who went on to lead all 300 laps.

“I have a lot of great memories with this rainbow paint scheme”, Gordon said. “The night race is the one of the coolest races you can come to as a driver”. I probably bunched everybody up because I was three-wide, but what are you going to do? It’s a place where his father, Dave, made 26 Cup Series starts and his uncle, Dale, raced with the World of Outlaws sprint cars when the track was covered in dirt. He has one win and eight top 5s this year. That is, not until Ty Dillon got together with Ben Kennedy in turn 3 to bring out the fifth caution and send the race into a green-white-chequered finish, with the field closed up sufficiently to allow Blaney one last crack at Crafton. On the final restart, Crafton’s truck sputtered, failing to come up to speed, allowing Blaney to take off and seal his fourth career NCWTS victory.

The think about Kyle Busch and Matt Kenseth this week is they should be be considered co-favorites to win, which is a big statement because Harvick has been that “it” guy favored in almost every race other than the roads and restrictor-plates.

“We want to win this weekend, for sure, with the XFINITY Dash 4 Cash on the line, and there’s no better place for it than Bristol”, Smith said.

“When you have high-banked, very fast short track in this stadium – in this “colosseum” – surrounded by the most avid NASCAR fans, the energy in the stands and on the track is electrifying”, he said. “We see how good it was, but at the same time, you’ve got to be good in your opportunity too”. Tyler Reddick, who finished eighth, continues to lead the series standings and holds a six-point advantage over Crafton.

John Hunter Nemechek was third, followed by Daniel Hemric, Brandon Jones and Erik Jones.
