Long Beach cities weather: Showers for Sunday

Saturday both the temperature and chance for rain will be lower. Wednesday will be mostly sunny ith a high near 66 and a low around 51. There will be a chance of thunderstorms throughout the week.
Thursday: Partly sunny with a high near 71. The computer models have been showing a chance for scattered showers developing overnight in central Ohio. Sunday, there’s also a chance of showers with a high near 62 and a low around 50. Winds could gust as high as 25 miles per hour.

A coastal flood watch indicates that onshore winds and tides will combine to generate flooding or low areas along the shore. It’s moving generally north. Chance of precipitation is 80 percent.

The coastal flood advisory is in effect until 6 a.m. Friday with the possibility of “moderate” coastal flooding. Seas will be moderate with wave heights of three to five feet. A moderate chop on the intracoastal waters.
