Long talked Coleman through broken leg with pregnancy breathing techniques

Bale will miss one game through suspension, the visit to Group D leaders Serbia on June 11. We’re told that it’s not so good, which we are sorry for.

The Everton full-back underwent surgery to pin the tibia and fibula in his right leg in Dublin on Saturday after Wales defender Neil Taylor’s challenge during Friday’s 0-0 World Cup qualifier draw left him in agony and his season over.

“At the minute even the doctors and surgeons wouldn’t be terribly sure”. “It happens when you come up against players you know, team-mates, and there’s no hard feelings at all”. That won’t change in the summer.

Neither keeper had a save to make and Wales will have headed into the changing rooms at half-time the more frustrated team – Martin O’Neill on the other hand, will be happy with the way his men executed the game plan.

“He is loved by everyone, he’s obviously a great player and he is going to be a big loss”.

“We will deal with it and move on”.

Martin O’Neill’s side pushed for a late victor but had to settle for a point, which keeps them in second place in Group D four points ahead of Wales after five games.

James McClean (Republic of Ireland): For most of the game Bale was the spark in an otherwise awful match but in the second-half McClean really came into his own.

“We’d like to have picked up a couple more points, but it’s never easy to qualify”. Not better or worse, however.

“All week we talked about not getting involved”.

Everton manager Ronald Koeman has offered his thoughts to stricken Séamus Coleman and expressed his sadness at seeing the defender suffer a horrific leg break while on global duty.

Coleman was immediately taken to hospital.

But there was more to Long’s presence than met the eye as Coleman was carried off the field on a stretcher.

Everyone at NSNO wishes Seamus and James well in their recoveries, but we also wish worldwide football would get in the bin during the Premier League season. If people want to pressure on this game, that’s up to them, but no chance I will do.

“There are still 15 points to play for, but it’s definitely advantage Serbia and Ireland”.
