Look Who’s Leaving Corrie
Coronation Street star Ryan Thomas has announced that he is leaving the cobbles, waving goodbye to the Rovers Return and saying cheerio to lots of drama.

Fans of the hit ITV soap will know that Thomas has played the hapless and unlucky in love builder for over 15 years having joined the cast back in 2000 as the oldest son of show veteran, Eileen Grimshaw (Sue Cleaver).
“Ryan has been part of Coronation Street for 15 years”. To be a part of it so long has been awesome’.
“The decision to leave was extremely hard”.
Ryan added: “I’m just excited now to see what exit storyline the writers give Jason”.
Producer Stuart Blackburn has said that Jason will be involved in a big storyline which affect his family, the Websters and the Windasses over the coming months.
The actor, who also shares a daughter with co-star and former girlfriend Tina, is keeping optimistic about the possibility of a career Stateside, though reiterated how happy he was to have had such a prosperous career in Coronation Street. Because we’ve got a few sad soap news for you.
He told the Mirror: “Going to Hollywood is a dream so I’m going to see what happens”.
Ryan’s final scenes are expected to be broadcast next summer.

“We can always dream”. I always pinch myself. “We wish him each achievement when he proceeds onward one year from now and we value his longing to attempt new things”, Blackburn said.
